Hi, Choir Parents!
Thank you all for coming out to support the choir students in their Fall Concert on Thursday! I am SO proud of the musicianship and professionalism they exhibited - especially for so early in the school year! Can't wait for the Winter Concert.

Here are our updates for the next couple of weeks. Remember, only bold and underlined events are REQUIRED for all choir students. However, some events are required for certain groups. Read carefully to see which events affect you/your child. Any changes from previous updates or the original calendar will be highlighted in red.
Mon. Oct. 17, Pre-Area All-State Practice, 4-5 PM, Required for Pre-Area Students
Tues. Oct. 18, 8th Grade Choir and RETURNING 7th Grade Choir Members ONLY, Rehearsal, 7:15-7:55 AM. (No longer required for first year choir students. Sorry for the confusion. Our Pep Rally performance for Oct. 25 has been canceled.) Choir Room
Tues. Oct. 18, Varsity Performs at Middle School (No longer required for JV) Students must meet in the FMS Choir room by 7:40. They will miss first period and will return (by bus) to FHS by the start of second period.
Tues. Oct. 18, Varsity Officer Meeting 3:50-4:15
Tues. Oct. 18, A Cappella Club, 4-5 PM
Thurs. Oct. 20, JV Officer Meeting during B Lunch
Thurs. Oct. 20, Varsity Rehearsal, 4-5:30 PM
Fri. Oct. 21, 8th Grade Choir performs at FHS Pep Rally. Students need to meet in the choir room at 7:40 AM and will return to FMS by bus after the Pep Rally. They will miss 1st period (their choir class) and the first part of 2nd period.
Fri. Oct. 21, JV & Varsity Treble Perform at Volleyball Game, 5:15-6:45 PM (Required for JV & Varsity Treble)
Fri. Oct. 21, JV Treble Retreat Karaoke/Movie Night, 6:45-9 PM (Required for JV Treble)
Mon. Oct. 24, Pre-Area All-State Practice, 4-5 PM, Required for Pre-Area Students
Mon. Oct. 24, Choir Parent Committee Meeting, 5:30-6:15 PM.
Tues. Oct. 25, 8th Grade Choir and Returning 7th Grade Choir members, Morning Rehearsal, 7:15-7:55 AM, Choir Room.
Tues. Oct. 25, 8th Grade Choir and RETURNING 7th Grade Choir Members Perform at 8th Grade Football Game, Details TBD.
Thurs. Oct. 27, JV Officer Meeting during B Lunch
Thurs. Oct. 27, Varsity Rehearsal, 4-5:30 PM
Fri. Oct. 28, Present for your Little is DUE. $10 MAX.
Fri. Oct. 28, FULL HS Choir Performs at Pep Rally, 6:15-7:15 PM
Fri. Oct. 28, HS Choir Social, 4-5:30, Bring Your Own Pumpkin! (Optional event)
Fri. Oct. 28, FULL HS Choir Performs at Football Game, 6:15-7:15 PM
